Rosary, 7 p.m., Thursday, December 15, Downing and Lahey West Chapel; Funeral Mass, 10 a.m., Friday, December 16, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Preceded in death by his grandparents, William T. Montgomery and Angie Schippers. Survivors: parents, Tom and Rita Montgomery; sister, Sarah Montgomery; grandparents, Betty Montgomery and Jerome Schippers. Memorial established with The Lords Diner, 520 North Broadway, Wichita, KS 67214.

Tom & Rita, Thank you for sharing such a wonderful young man with our family. It’s hard for me to believe I won’t see that beautiful smile tomorrow looking out from that blue truck of his. He was always very polite and respectful. My son lost his closest friend Saturday. Zeke and I talked about how their work day was Friday and how he took him around to the bank and such before he took him home that evening. Robert, Zeke and I were blessed to have gotten to know him. My thoughts are with you today, tomorrow and for the days ahead, I hope the Lord may bring you comfort.
