Marian Alberta (Schultz) Hartup

Hartup, Marian Alberta (Schultz), 89, retired Boeing Company confidential payroll employee, passed away March 8, 2008. Marian was born on August 3, 1918 in Wichita. Marian was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Alberta Schultz, brother, Howard Dale Schultz, sister, Charlene Wiedman, and husband, Willis Hartup. Marian is survived by sons, Michael Hartup, Wichita, Larry Hartup, Emporia; daughter, Judith Briley, Wichita, and sister, Frances Ryan, Tampa, FL. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Marian was a member of Valley Center Chapter 237 of the Order of the Eastern Star, a member of Wesley Senior Friends, Twentieth Century Club, Helianthus Club and Kechi United Methodist Church. Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 13, 2008, at Downing Lahey East Mortuary. Graveside services will be held at Old Mission Cemetery, 11:30 A.M., Friday, March 14, 2008. Memorials have been established with the Ladder of Smiles for the Shriners Hospitals for Children 7418 E. 26th Street North, Wichita, KS 67226 and Kechi United Methodist Church 4553 E. 61st Street North, Kechi, KS 67067.
