Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Sylvia and Todd, We are so sorry for your loss. Ken was one of first to welcome me to station 12. His great sense of humor and sincere concern for others will be missed. God Bless you both.

  2. The first day of working with Ken full time at EMS I was pulled aside by my Captain and given a list of things, for Ken, that needed to be improved upon. Before Ken and I pulled out of Bld. 10 I showed him the list and asked why he did the negative things on it. His reply, ‘Nobody told me not to.’ If you wanted Enyeart to do something… all you had to do was ask. I miss you already, Melonhead. I enjoyed being your Hootie.

  3. Sylvia,Todd and family; My wife Jane and I will always have fond memories of Ken. We have worked with him many times on EMS and he was an absolute pleasure. I have known Ken since 1982 when I was a new part time EMS employee. He touched so many people and was so influential and inspirational as an instructor, co-worker and friend. May God bless you, give you peace and love during your time of sorrow and grief. The community needs more guys like your husband, Todds father and our friend. We will never forget him and always keep fond memories close in our hearts. Truly, he was one of a kind.

  4. It goes without saying what an outstanding Paramedic Ken was. He was much more than that though. When I was a new EMT he treated me with respect. When my time with EMS ended and stories were flying he treated me with respect. Ken was the most ginuine person I have met. My life is richer because Ken was in my life. My prayers go to his family as they deal with this loss.

  5. Ken was an amazing paramedic who thrived on sharing his knowledge of pre-hospital care with all of us that were blessed to have him as an instructor and a co-worker. I am thankful for all the great memories and laughter we shared through the years. May God bless you and help you through this difficult time.

  6. Ken not only was a great FF and Paramedic, but instructor and teacher as well. He not only touched the lives of the patients he had direct contact with, but through the hundreds of students that he taught over the years. He always wanted the best for others. I will never forget ‘Randy the Red Blood Cell’. To his family and friends, I am so sorry for your loss, everyone misses him already.

  7. Ken was, simply, one of a kind. I worked at Sedg.Co. EMS for many years and always looked forward to my shifts with him. Nobody could make me laugh like Ken! I will never forget one shift, in particular, where he had me laughing so hysterically at a horror movie (of all things) that my ribcage was sore the next day! I’ll always remember the laughter, his knowledge, his compassion, the gentle way he cared for the elderly, his unwavering loyalty to and respect for his wife and son, and the fact that he never took himself too seriously. He will be GREATLY missed!

  8. I was lucky enough to have Ken as my EMT Instructor. Good thing because all the medical knowledge I learned from him became very useful when I became ill with kidney failure. I gave him credit for me still being alive 11 years later. He was a very intelligent man. All that medical knowledge was very helpful. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. He will definitely be missed because he was one of a kind. Goodnight Chet. Rest in peace my dear friend. I am going to miss you.

  9. Ken was a person that you wanted to call a friend. He always had a story and a good laugh for you. He dedication to providing the highest level of emergency services to the public was a testament to the person he was and to the value he placed on life itself. Ken will be greatly missed by those who knew him, and those who didn’t get that opportunity. My condolences to Sylvia, Todd and the family.

  10. Kenny was a devoted husband, father, and civil servant. He was a good friend, mentor, and human being. I loved to listen and watch him laugh and he could share and take a joke with style. He loved his Lord and Saviour and practiced his faith in caring and sharing with patients, co-workers, students and friends, yet always remained unpretentious. He enjoyed life and treated people of all socioeconomic status with respect. He was honorable in all his life’s work. I will miss our chats and political debates on facebook. Mom used to say, ‘When two lives touch, they are forever changed.’ Thank you, Kenny and Sylvia, for touching my life. RIP my friend.
