Ayers, Jeryl “Jeri”, 55, wife, mother and administrative professional, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2010. Rosary and Memorial Service, 10 a.m., Saturday, October 9, Downing Lahey Mortuary West. Preceded in death by parents, John and Carolyn (Ryan) Epperly; brother, John M. Epperly. Survivors: husband, Douglas Ayers of Wichita; children, Autumn Ayers of Lawrence, Matt Ayers of Goddard, Ashley Adams of Wichita; brother, Edward Epperly of Wichita; sisters, Jeanne Marie Epperly, Elizabeth Matthew and Jodi Pyle all of Wichita; granddaughter, Carly Adams. Memorial established with Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219.

To the Epperly and Ayers Families: I am so very SAD to hear about the loss of Dear Jeri! She was a great friend who I will never forget — we had so many great times — FUN FUN FUN!!! I will always hold special memories of her in my heart. I am so thankful that I was able to spend some time with her before her passing! I am so sorry to all of you for your loss!
Although I did not have the privilege of personally knowing the beautiful Mrs. Ayers, God has blessed me in that I have her wonderful son as my brother-in-law. I know that only an incredible & extraordinary woman could have raised such a kind, thoughtful, loving young man that I am proud to call my brother-in-law & whom my kids love, adore, & admiringly refer to as their ‘Uncle Matty’!! Matt-my heart, thoughts & prayers go out to you as well as to your father, Mr. Ayers, your sisters, and the rest of your family grieving the profound loss of your beloved mother. May God bless all of you and give all of you comfort and peace throughout this most difficult time!!
