Gutierrez, Armando “Mondo”, 81, Volunteer Foster Grandparent after a career in law enforcement, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2009. Rosary 7:00 P.M., Monday, June 22, Downing Lahey Mortuary West. Funeral Mass 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 23, St. Jude Catholic Church. Preceded by parents, Pedro and Francis Gutierrez, son, Michael, granddaughter, Alexis, sisters, Bea and Angie. Survivors: wife of nearly 60 years, Marina; children, Rosemary Martinez (Philip), Alicia Smith, Gilbert Gutierrez all of Wichita and Gloria Barry (Dale) of El Paso, TX; and a loving niece and nephew, who they raised as their own, Bobby and Lisa; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; brothers, Alfonso, Gilbert, Rudy, Bobby and Ray Gutierrez; sisters, Rachel Rubalcaba, Mary Linares, and Lee Sweetland.
