Life Legacy

Frazee, Thomas E., 64, died Sunday, October 3, 2010. Visitation with the family will be 7:00 ~ 9:00 p.m., Thursday, October 7 with service at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 8, both at Downing & Lahey Mortuary East. Tom obtained both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Wichita State University and his CPA from the University of Virginia. He was a retired contract manager for The Boeing Company. His assignments took him from Wichita, Huntsville, AL, Vienna, VA, Seattle, WA and back home again. After retirement he worked from time to time as a consultant for Spirit AeroSystems. Tom was very active during his life. In his childhood years he was an Eagle Scout. In 1970 he became a Mason in the Albert Pike Lodge and also joined the Wichita Consistory. Tom served our country in Vietnam and was a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel. He was also instrumental in marking the Chisholm Trail from the Oklahoma border to Abilene, KS. Tom also was involved with the community in which he lived, serving on the board to design a reforestation plan. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, son, Mark (Misty), step-daughter, Sara Rutherford, mother, Nancy Frazee, father George Frazee, sisters, Dorothy Herr and Melissa Scribner and granddaughter, Morgan.
