I was so sad to see the notice of Anna's passing in the Sunday Eagle. She has always been an inspiration to me--one of the first individuals I met at Via Christi when coming to Wichita 6 years ago. She had such grace, beauty and intelligence. She will be sorely missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing her.

I am a colleague of Anna's, previously with Via Christi. I had the privilege of working closely with Anna on numerous projects throughout the years. She was quite enjoyable to work with. Her professionalism, respect for others and her great humor were just a few of her wonderful attributes. She will be missed! My thoughts and prayers are extended to all of her family members. Cherish your memories!

I knew Anna through PSI and she was what every member aspired to. Anna was one of the most intelligent persons I have ever known. I wish I could be at her funeral but my car sits outside and the parking lot is a sheet if ice, so don't think that will change in time but if it does, I will attend.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Anna.

Stephanie and family,
Our sincere sympathy for the loss of your mom. Your mom had to be an amazing woman because she nurtured and raised an amazing daughter. We are praying for comfort and peace during this tender time of grief.

Thank you for allowing Anna to mentor so many people in the Medical Staff Professionals field and KAMSS. She spent time with so many, helping a peer understand a process, providing help with policies, leading and directing with great knowledge, warmth and kindness. Anna nurtured my career in the health care industry and I am grateful to have known her. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Dear Fryar Family:
I had the privilege to attend Anna’s service today and felt the minister captured her quiet determination perfectly. Anna and I worked together from 1985-94 when the merger eliminate my position. I appreciated sitting in director’s meetings with her and had the utmost respect for her capabilities to deal with the physicians…they can be a fickled lot. I’m sure there is more than one who can thank Anna for a start in their career path. Bill Smith who was the Director of the Pharmacy for years and a very good friend of Anna’s was buried 2-23 some 12 years ago. There is comfort for me in knowing that two such good people are looking out for all of us from above. It was my privilege and honor to know and work with Anna.
My sincere condolences to you and your family.
