Avelar, Josephine “Josie”, 86, homemaker, passed away Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010. Rosary, 8:30 pm Wednesday and Funeral Mass 10 am Thursday Feb. 11, 2010 both at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Preceded in death by son, Richard. Survivors: husband, Raymond; children, Victoria Avelar, Jime Avelar, Juliana (Adam) Rizo; brother, Igancio “Nacho” Guerrero; sisters, Francis Santiago, Mary “Cuca” Robles and Rafila “Lupe” Robles, all of Wichita; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
