Amy, I have been searching for the words to offer. My chest has been tight, my stomach has turned, my eyes have cried, my throat has ached with a lump every single time. I cannot imagine the heartbreak you are feeling. Nobody should have to go through this. I didn't know your son, but I know how proud of him you are and how you love him so! You are in my thoughts and prayers. 💔

Hi Amy, this is Prisma Espinoza at US Grant HS. I am so sorry for your lose. I remember you talking about your son with me so many times. You told me how well he was doing as a chef and how happy it made him. Your face would light up when you would talk to me about him and how happy it made you to see him become a chef. I have no magical words to say to you, but please know that I am thinking of you and your family, praying that you all get through this time united and strong. I can only imagine what you are going through and it breaks my heart for you. I know you will continue to light up when you speak of him and all the wonderful memories you have of your son. Memories are a beautiful thing to preserve and I hope they keep you going in life. May he rest in peace. Prisma Espinoza paespinoza@okcps.org (405)971-4278

You were the greatest chef I know and yet somehow an even greater friend. I have so many memories of you. Most involving bad decisions. But hey, how else do you have fun, right?! I’m gonna miss you man. You were the craziest and certainly the most unique. That’s one of the many things people loved about you. Whether you’re in Heaven, Nirvana, Valhalla, Moksha, Or Paradise; I hope it’s an afterlife worthy of your soul and spirit. And if you’re in hell, save a spot for me won’t ya? I love you man. requiescat in pace. “The loss of a friend is like that of a limb; time may heal the anguish of the wound, but the loss cannot be repaired.” -Robert Southey

Toban, we went to school together and I don’t know if you remember me because we didn’t talk all that much and I was more of a quiet person when it came to school, but oh how I remember you! You came in smiling every day almost and you always had a positive attitude! I wish I would have gotten to know you better because you made me smile so many times from just being your sweet and goofy self! You are too young Toban... a bright light taken out of a darkening world... someone needed you to still be here for them! Watch over your momma because I know she is hurting. Watch over any other family and friends. Just because you are no longer here on earth, doesn’t mean you cant still be here in spirit and you can still change lives Toban. Rest In Peace love! 💕

Dear Toban, I'll never forget the fun times we shared in our highschool days. I remember our first period freshman year was English, I would laugh everytime you would say "anyone who can speak English at this hour is sure to be a scholar". You were such a bright light in such a dark place..you are so loved

Amy and family -- I'm so sorry to hear of the sudden passing of Toban. If there's anything that brings you comfort, please let it be the fact that it was apparent to me (someone who never even met him) how incredibly loved he was in life by everyone. I always enjoyed hearing how he was doing, and Amy's pride and endless support of Toban was truly heartwarming to see. Sending all of my love and support your way during this difficult time. <3
