I had the honor appearing before Judge Terry Pullman for the past ten years. I will always appreciate his humor both on and off the bench, as well as the constant patience he demonstrated during legal discussions and the way he educated young attorneys, such as myself. He provided justice tempered with mercy, and diligently served the interests of our community. I have the utmost respect for Terry, and I know there are many of us in the legal community who will strive to uphold the high standards he has set. By sharing his light he ignited so many others.

I've never played Rugby, but I imagine that Terry was valued for his toughness, his passion for the sport, his absolute dependability and commitment to the team, his selflessness and sacrifice for the common good, and, of course, his wonderful wit and fun-loving nature for a beer after the game. As with Rugby, so it was in the rest of his life. What a wonderful person. Condolences from the Stamps to the Pullmans. Prayers for you at this most difficult time.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

I'm so sorry we've lost Terry. My deepest sympathies to his family. We spent the last 19 years working together, with friendship and respect. We had 19 years of his sitting in my office or my sitting in his, sharing ideas and sharing "war" stories of our life in the legal trenches. I loved his bad jokes, his broad smile and his deep laugh. All of us, here at the courthouse, will truly miss him.

I practiced as a public defender in front of Judge Pullman for nine years. He was always fair in his rulings and treated both sides respectfully. He was also a good friend outside the courtroom. We got to know each other better during rehearsals for a bar show. A very kind man. I will miss him.

Terry was someone with whom I enjoyed every conversation and I will remember and miss him every time I visit the rugby pitch. His generosity, wisdom, and intelligence were always evident and he treated each and every person he met with respect. It's cliche to say someone made a difference with their life but, with Terry, I know that to be true.

I'm so sorry to hear about Judge Pullman's passing. I was a court reporter who worked in his courtroom many times, and he was one of the good ones -- intelligent, classy, a gentleman, knowledgable and fair. He is an excellent jurist. He is someone everyone enjoyed working with, from Eula at the front door of the courthouse lobby to the clerks, aides, court reporters, attorneys and other judges. The Sedgwick County legal community has suffered a huge loss with his passing. He will be missed.
