I first met Paula when she was visiting with her good friend, Kitty Reed (my mother-in-law). I was immediately taken with her warm, friendly, down-to-earth nature and her beautiful smile and contagious laugh. I was lucky enough to help her with her travel plans and I always looked forward to talking to her and hearing all about her travels. She was so proud of her family - Jane and Richard and families. The world has lost a very special woman. I hope that happy memories of your wonderful mother shine a light through the darkness and comfort you all.

Paula was a long time good friend - always with a warm smile and a friendly welcome. She was unique in that she wanted to stay current in community affairs and attended and offered her sage advice during numerous Visioneering meetings and Chamber functions while I was at the Chamber. To me, she is an icon of incredible beauty and love for her friends and community.

Paula was such a remarkable example of leadership and grace in our community. She and her late husband were, without a doubt, great advocates for the people with disadvantages that Goodwill Industries of Kansas serves. Her friendship, kindness and interest in the programing will certainly be missed. May she be at peace.

Paula is in a better place and we are sure she will have a coffee group there that she keeps on their toes just like the one she had here. Paula was a wonderful woman and we will miss her.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

I will miss Paula’s sweet demeanor and kindnesses at our PEO meetings. She was a great Shocker fan also and we would chat about the men’s basketball team. May Paula Rest In Peace and be happy in heaven with Sterling.
