I read this poem today Dad. Wind Today I heard your voice in the wind today, And I turned to see your face The warmth of the wind caressed me as I stood silently in place. I felt your touch in the sun today as the warmth filled the sky; I closed my eyes for your embrace and my spirit soared high. I saw your eyes in the window pane as I watched the falling rain; it seemed as each raindrop fell it quietly said your name. I held you close in my heart today it made me feel complete. You may have died...but you are not gone, you'll always be a part of me. As long as the sun shines... As long as the wind blows... The rain'll be inside of me forever for that is all my heart knows. You were a great Dad and I love you, and I will miss you every day! Love Brenda

Sorry to hear of the passing of "Charlie" I worked with him at Continental Can Co. Charlie and I bought three rental units together, fixed them up and sold them. It was always a joy to be around Charlie, he was a great partner. I was with him when he bought his 1958 Porsche 356 Speedster, that was around 1969 or 1970, we towed it to my garage and started working on it. This brings back so many memories from long ago. RIP good buddy. Bob and Margaret Grabe

I loved Charlie, a true gentleman with a constant twinkle in his eyes and always a warm smile. He was an amazing gardener/farmer growing food for all the family. My sincerest condolences to his entire family especially to his wife Martha, my first cousin, and their son Will. Charlie will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
