Since joining Downing & Lahey as west office manager in 1999, Carolyn Rowden has been impressed with the mortuary's professionalism and commitment to clients. Yet the longer she remains, the more she appreciates the "extras" Downing & Lahey offers families during their time of need. Qualities like respect, integrity and compassion are the hallmarks of the family-owned Downing & Lahey.

A longtime westside Wichita resident for more than 18 years, Carolyn counts many friends among the community she serves. Because of her personal involvement with these families, she feels especially gratified to know that they will receive the attention they need when they walk through the door at Downing & Lahey. Carolyn is committed to providing the kind of compassionate, caring service that she would offer to any friend and neighbor in their time of need, supporting the funeral directors and their clients by coordinating details and assisting in service planning.

During her spare time, Carolyn is a devoted wife and mother, spending time with her husband, Paul, and their four children.
